Webinar Replay: Multi-CAD Flexibility

The base license of Creo is the most powerful and versatile CAD software on the market! Yet most users don’t know about all of the capabilities that could help them model about 22% faster. As a Creo user, I want to make you aware that your current license contains a capability called Unite Technology.

Unite Technology addresses challenges in product development by enabling users to import and open non-native files as well as saving that data in non-Creo formats, to help create and maintain design intent across CAD Platforms.

• Import – Users can convert data from other CAD systems (such as CATIA®, Siemens® NX™, SolidEdge®, SolidWorks®, and Autodesk® Inventor™) into Creo data.
• Open – Provides users the ability to work with non-native data without any conversion effort. Users can now incorporate CATIA, Siemens NX, SolidWorks, and Autodesk Inventor data directly into their designs without creating additional business objects.
• Update – Change is an inevitable part of collaboration. The Creo Collaboration Extensions ensure changes on imported or opened data are handled seamlessly. Solidworks and Inventor Collaboration Extensions are included in the base package of Creo.
• Save as – With the Creo Collaboration Extensions, designers can exchange Creo models in the most common CAD formats (including CATIA, Siemens NX, and SolidWorks) without the presence of licenses from these software systems.
